White House Details Progress of Military Campaign in Iran

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The White House has reiterated the core objectives of Operation Epic Fury, aiming to dismantle Iran's missile capabilities, neutralize its naval fleet, and eliminate its nuclear potential.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reported that the operation has struck 5,000 targets since February 28, including 50 naval vessels. She noted that Iranian retaliatory capacity has decreased by 90%, though the administration has not ruled out future ground troop deployments.

Strategic & Energy Impact:

  • Energy Security: The US has pledged to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, offering political risk insurance to commercial tankers.
  • Economic Waiver: A temporary waiver was personally approved by the US President for India to purchase Russian oil, aiming to stabilize global markets.
  • Military Status: While 140 US service members have been wounded, the majority have returned to duty as US forces continue to strike R&D and production sites.

The administration maintains that the campaign will continue until the regional threat is neutralized and strategic objectives are fully realized.
