Rijiju: Rahul Gandhi Is "Most Dangerous" Person for India’s Security

NEW DELHI (Feb 18, 2026) — Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has labeled Rahul Gandhi the "most dangerous person" for India’s security, accusing the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) of active links with anti-India forces and global extremists.

The Allegations

In a sharp interview with ANI, Rijiju claimed Gandhi’s actions go beyond political dissent:

  • Extremist Links: He alleged Gandhi meets with Naxalites, Maoists, and radical ideologues both in India and during foreign trips.
  • Foreign Influence: Rijiju specifically accused him of working with billionaire George Soros to destabilize the country.
  • Parliamentary Conduct: The Minister dismissed Gandhi's behavior as "childish," citing his recent use of an unpublished memoir and "baseless" claims regarding the Epstein Files to target PM Modi.

Escalating Tensions

The attack comes as BJP MP Nishikant Dubey moved a motion in the Lok Sabha seeking a lifetime ban on Gandhi from contesting elections, alleging he is part of a "thuggery gang" intent on partitioning the nation for power.
