SINGRAULI — Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the district administration to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment to the District Hospital-cum-Trauma Center in Baidhan.

The initiative, part of NCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aims to modernize healthcare infrastructure for the residents of Singrauli and surrounding areas.

Key Project Highlights:

• Strategic Collaboration: The MoU was signed in the presence of District Collector Gaurav Bansal and NCL General Manager (CSR) Rajeev Ranjan.
• Specialized Support: The equipment will upgrade several departments, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and Surgery.
• Emergency Care: A significant portion of the aid is dedicated to enhancing the Emergency and Trauma Services to better handle critical patients.
• Regional Impact: Proposed by MP Rajesh Mishra, the project focuses on making high-quality medical treatment more accessible at the grassroots level.

NCL reaffirmed its commitment to regional development, noting that these additions will significantly reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for advanced medical care.
