NEW DELHI – State-owned construction giant NBCC (India) Limited has secured a new project management consultancy (PMC) order from Indian Overseas Bank (IOB). The contract, valued at approximately ₹55.02 crore (excluding GST), involves the development of a modern regional office for the bank in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Project Scope and Execution
Under the terms of the agreement, NBCC will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the project, including:
- Planning and Designing: Developing the architectural and structural framework for the new office.
- Execution: Managing the construction and procurement phases.
- Handover: Ensuring the facility is fully operational and meets the bank's technical specifications upon completion.
The project is part of NBCC's core PMC operations, where it leverages its expertise to deliver institutional buildings for government and public sector entities.
Regulatory and Market Impact
In a regulatory filing, NBCC confirmed that this is a domestic contract won in the normal course of business. The company clarified that the order is not a related party transaction, ensuring complete transparency in the awarding process.
