MUMBAI – Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has set a historic milestone, handling 102 million tonnes (MT) of cargo and 8.17 million TEUs in the 2025-26 fiscal year. This marks an overall cargo growth of 10.74% and a container growth of 11.94% compared to FY25.
Key Performance Highlights:
- BMCT (PSA Singapore): Led with 18.36% growth, handling a record 2.687 million TEUs.
- GTI (APM Terminals/Concor): Achieved its highest-ever annual volume of 2.232 million TEUs (+7.39%).
- NSFTPL (J M Baxi/CMA CGM): Clocked a massive 40.87% growth, handling 837,121 TEUs.
- DP World Terminals: NSICT grew by 7.92% (1.303 million TEUs), while NSIGT saw a marginal 4.07% decline.
With a total annual capacity of 10.4 million TEUs, JN Port’s record-breaking year reinforces its position as India's primary container gateway and a vital driver of the nation’s maritime trade for the 2026-27 period.
