THIRUVANANTHAPURAM – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a stern warning to Pakistan on Thursday, stating that any future "misadventure" would trigger an "unprecedented and decisive" response from India.
Speaking at a Sainik Samman Sammelan in Kerala, Singh highlighted India's shift to a zero-tolerance policy against cross-border terrorism.
Key Highlights:
- Operation Sindoor: Singh referenced the swift 22-minute retaliation following the b which claimed 26 lives, noting that India dismantled terror infrastructure with record speed.
- Warning of Escalation: "The operation is not over yet," the Minister asserted, warning that any repeat of "dirty actions" would meet a "befitting reply" that Pakistan would never forget.
- Proactive Security: Singh emphasized that under the current government, India no longer hesitates to strike at the roots of terrorism on either side of the border, citing the precedents of Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam.
The Minister concluded that India's national security apparatus has been fundamentally strengthened, moving away from past policies of restraint toward active deterrence.
