NEW DELHI – Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), the Maharatna engineering and manufacturing powerhouse, has formally notified stock exchanges of a key leadership transition. Shri Alok Kumar Singhal, Executive Director in charge of the Component Fabrication Plant (CFP), retired from the company on January 24, 2026, upon reaching the age of superannuation.
The announcement was made via a regulatory filing on January 25, 2026, in accordance with SEBI transparency norms for senior management changes.

Stationed at the corporate headquarters in New Delhi, Shri Singhal oversaw the Component Fabrication Plant (CFP) division. This unit is critical to BHEL’s manufacturing ecosystem, specializing in high-precision fabrication for power and industrial equipment.
