NEW DELHI – Public sector construction giant NBCC (India) Limited continues to expand its footprint in the infrastructure sector, announcing the acquisition of three new major contracts worth approximately ₹220.31 crore. These developments further bolster the Navratna firm's already formidable order book, which reached a historic milestone earlier this year.

Major Project Breakdown

The new work orders span the banking and education sectors, showcasing NBCC's versatile project management capabilities:

Canara Bank Head Office Annex (Bengaluru): The largest of the three orders, valued at ₹163.12 crore, involves the planning, designing, and execution of a Head Office Annex building at Manyata Tech Park.

JNV Medchal-Malkajgiri (Telangana): A contract worth ₹48.18 crore for the construction of a permanent campus for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

JNV Jalna (Maharashtra): A project valued at ₹9.01 crore for the construction of a boys' dormitory unit and four warden residences.

Robust Financial Standing

As of mid-2025, NBCC's total order book has remained exceptionally strong, significantly exceeding the ₹1 lakh crore (₹100,000 crores) mark. This growth is primarily driven by its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) division, which continues to be the backbone of the company’s revenue stream.

On the stock market, NBCC shares reflected steady investor interest, closing at ₹121.70 on the BSE, representing a marginal dip of 0.18% in recent trading. Industry analysts view the consistent inflow of diverse orders as a positive indicator of the company’s long-term operational stability and its critical role in India's urban and institutional development.
