The reshuffle, signed by Joint Secretary Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Singh, aims to refresh district leadership and streamline key state missions for the new fiscal year.

High-Profile Secretariat Appointments

  • Dr. Joga Ram (2005): Continues as Secretary, Panchayati Raj, with the additional charge of Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM).
  • Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni (2010): Appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister, while retaining charge of Information and Public Relations.
  • Shri Rajan Vishal (2008): Moves to the Jal Jeevan Mission as Mission Director.
  • Shri Nakate Shivprasad Madan (2011): Named Managing Director of Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited.

District Collector Shifts

The reshuffle significantly alters the leadership across several key districts:

  • Jaipur & Udaipur: Shri Sandesh Nayak takes charge as Collector of Jaipur, while Shri Gaurav Agrawal moves to Udaipur.
  • Tonk: High-profile officer Tina Dabi (2016) has been posted as the new District Collector.
  • Bikaner: Shri Nishant Jain takes over as Collector and Chairman of the Bikaner Development Authority.
  • Other Districts: New Collectors designated for Barmer (Chinmayi Gopal), Sikar (Ashish Modi), and Jaisalmer (Anupama Jorwal).

Strategic & Municipal Roles

  • Infrastructure: Shri Arvind Kumar Poswal becomes Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board, and Shri Suresh Kumar Ola takes the helm at RIICO.
